These terms are the agreement between you and Whensday for the use of this service. Using it means you accept them.
Whensday is a booking platform. It puts clients and businesses in touch and keeps the diary straight. The appointment itself is between you and the business — we are not a party to it, we do not perform the service, and we do not guarantee its quality.
Keep your password to yourself and your details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Each business sets its own hours, prices, deposit rules and cancellation terms, and those terms govern your appointment. Whensday does not process payments for appointments — deposits and fees are paid directly to the business, and refunds and cancellations are a matter between you and them.
You confirm you are entitled to represent it, that what you publish is accurate, and that you hold whatever licences your trade requires. You are responsible for honouring the appointments you accept, and for handling your clients' personal information lawfully — including anything you import from a connected calendar.
Write honestly about experiences you actually had. Nothing unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringing. You keep ownership of what you post, and grant us the licence needed to display it on the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Calendar sync is provided as a convenience. Providers change their APIs, revoke tokens and have outages, and a sync can therefore be late or incomplete. Check your own diary before relying on it for anything that matters. What we read and store is set out in the privacy policy.
We work to keep Whensday running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.
We will post any material change to these terms on this page and update the date above before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
