For workshops
Book by the job, not by the hour. Set how long a major service, a brake job or a diagnostic actually takes in your bays, and let customers ask for a slot that fits — which you approve before it is anything at all.
Free, and no card. About twenty minutes to your first booking.
1. Four cars dropped at eight and two ramps to put them on.
2. A phone that rings all morning with people asking when you can fit them in.
3. A customer who thought a service took an hour and planned their day around it.
Every service carries its own length, price and the people qualified to do it. Nothing gets booked into a gap it does not fit.
A booking arrives as a request. Accept it, decline it, or offer the nearest time you can actually do — and let them decide.
Confirmations when you accept, and a reminder before the appointment. The two messages that do most of the work on no-shows.
Printable from your dashboard. It opens your page, your services and your real availability — no app to install, no account to make.
The part that does the work
A QR code on the invoice. The next service is booked before the car leaves the yard.
Whensday is new in South Africa. The diary, the requests inbox, the reminders and the QR code all work today, and they are what we think is worth your afternoon — a front desk that answers the phone for you, whether or not anybody ever finds you through us.
The other half is a place customers search for workshops near them. That is real and it is growing, and we would rather you listed for the diary and treated any booking that arrives through search as the bonus it currently is.
Listing is free. Bookings are free. Paid placement exists, is optional, and is always labelled as paid.
Your services, your hours, your people. Twenty minutes, and the next person who asks for a time can see the answer themselves.
